"I went to Beaner's this morning to grab some coffee and say HI to Holly Sands, and went i went back out to my car there were marks/scratches on the lock and handle part of my door. i think someone tried to break into my car while i was inside! I have to manually unlock my door with my key everytime, and it wasn't there when i unlocked my door in my driveway, so i can only deduce that it happened in the Beaners parking lot. i was only in there for 5 minutes! why must people be so rude? i don't have anything in my car worth taking. i mean, my softball glove is pretty sweet, and i have a pretty cool umbrella, but besides that, i think there's just some tissue paper in case i find myself in a gift wrapping emergency.
I was having a great morning, too. i woke up a couple hours early and took my time getting ready. i picked out a good outfit, and read a magazine while eating breakfast. I even had the time to stop at beaners. then after walking out to get in my car, i saw the marks, and my spirit just nose-dived. don't you hate how some a little thing like that can just bring you down so quickly? It just made me so angry that someone would do that to me. My thoughts were caught up in a downward spiral the entire drive to work. I had to make them stop, so I just kept on trying to fight the bad thoughs with a good wisdom like, "I am blessed to have a car. It doesn't matter if it has scratches on it. Thank you Lord for your provision, and that whoever tried to break-in wasn't successful." around 9:30 i started to move on and get over it.
so that's the story morning glory. hope your morning story was better than mine."

I haven't updated this in a long time. I haven't even journaled about my last month overseas. oh well...maybe i'll take some time to do that soon. until then though...this was an email i wrote to danae this morning, and as i was reading over it, i thought that it could also double as a blog post. so here's a little story of my morning:
